This is such a powerful verse! The saying "it all comes out in the wash" comes to my mind here. Thousands of years ago the apostles spreading of the gospel were left alone in hopes that it was just a fad, a trend or a soon passing rage; with a highly honored and respected leader declaring "if this plan is of man it will fail, if it is of God, it will not be overthrown," well... here we are 2016 A.D. and the Gospel and it's life-changing power is still being preached, lives are still being changed and God is still getting the glory! The prophetic word of the respected leader has been proven to "be of God." Jesus is real, He lived, He died and He rose again so that the whole world would have a chance to hear and receive eternal life. It has all "come out in the wash"- Jesus is alive, proven over thousands of years!
