26 And regarding the dead, whether or not they are raised, don't you ever read the Bible? How God at the bush said to Moses, 'I am — not was — the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? 27 The living God is God of the living, not the dead.

He is the great "I Am" not the great "I was." He is here for us now, and not just there for us then! We have to allow God the freedom to be there for us every minute of our day- this day! Stop dwelling on the past, stop thinking only on the prayers answered from our yesterdays, or the prayers left unanswered and begin to fully understand that He is the "I Am" of our today.
What do we need from Him? What test, trial or temptation do we need strength to get through? What deliverance do we need? What chains need to be broken? So you say, I've been praying and believing for that, for a long time, so what now?
Shift your thinking to the great "I Am" not the great "I was" and know that He's in your today and this just might be the day when things move from the spiritual realm and manifest into the physical realm in the form of an answered prayer!
