Luke 19:26 NLT “‘Yes,’ the king replied, ‘and to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.

We are so caught up in the outward looks, actions, prestige and placement of the gifts and callings of God on His people that it causes us to compare ourselves to others, to question our own gifts/call and the gifts/call God has given to others, making ourselves feel more than, or just as bad, less than everyone else. If we haven't been given a gift to Pastor/preach but instead a gift to serve in the area of housekeeping, we feel less than, not good enough or expendable to the Kingdom of God.
But God has given each and everyone the gift/call that He deems suitable for us. Not one is greater than or less than the other, just as in this portion of scripture here in Luke, some He gave many pieces(talents) and others He gave a smaller amount, but to Him it was all the same, it wasn't about the amount, the status, the position, the prestige of the talent, it was about the use of what He had given.
So whether we are called to hug people at the door of the church, to count the money in the offering, to clean the bathrooms before hand or to stand In The office of Pastor, to God it's all one in the same, an even playing field, just talents to be used to help multiply the kingdom. We must stop comparing ourselves (this is a place where the enemy lives) and instead use the talent we've been given and help complete ourselves!
